The Card above is a copy of the original Registration Card from the Mission.

As I've said, these are only a few stories of my time at the St. Joseph's Mission. Officially, the correct name of the Mission was the Cariboo Indian Residential School. It closed its doors for the last time as a residential school in 1981.

The music I've chosen for my story is by Jack Nitzsche. Ironically it is the music from the closing scene of the movie"One flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" where the Indian is escaping from a very abusive insane asylum.
